St George's Anglican Church, Ontario | A Christian Community of Disciples Making Disciples

The youth ministry team is comprised of Derek Kerr, Josev Biggar, Ray Smith and Rev. Garth Hunt. Together we seek to help our youth embrace a vital relationship with Jesus as Saviour and King, and also encourage them to mature into all that the Lord has called them to be.

OUR YOUTH ARE REACHING OUT

Our youth are reaching out. Leah Culver spent the month of August 2009 in Batual, Kenya. She assisted a team of local builders who were contributing to the construction of more classrooms, tables and desks.

Also in August 2009, our
St. George’s youth, lead by Rev. Garth Hunt, Josev Biggar and Anita Chambers travelled to St. Bede’s, Manitoba (ANiC parish) assisting in VBS, ministering on the first nations reserve, and mingling with the community.

One Way Youth Ministries

Activities held weekly to build your relationship with the Lord and others. Meetings are held each Sunday from 6:30pm-8:00pm
@ Milton Bible Church located at 200 Main Street E. in Milton. The evening consists of Bible Study, Prayer and spiritual formation.

The Lighter Side
Typically, once a month we have an event - often held on Thursday nights or Saturday afternoons. We have done things like: bowling, rock climbing, mini-golfing, paintballing, laser tag, movie night, Indigo etc.

I value most at St. George's the "freedom to contemplate mystery."
